Dr. Haesun Moon’s (2017) Dialogical Orientation Quadrants (Source) is an essential model for understanding the importance of the questions we ask and how we ask them.

It is a helpful tool for us to understand the “grammar” of solution-focused practice. As we learned in our training session, any question we ask in a therapy or coaching session can be sorted into one of the quadrants.
